In the wake of a largely cordial confirmation hearing for Alejandro Mayorkas, President-elect Joe Biden’s nominee for secretary of Homeland Security, Sen. Despite a court order to enforce the Remain in Mexico Policy, there are reports that only 40 migrants per day were being returned to Mexico-compared to the approximately 5,000 illegal border crossing each day.
